Located beside the Qiandeng Lake in Nanhai, the Guangdong Financial Hi-Tech Service Zone covers and area of 18 km2.

As the first first among seven basic platforms of the financial construction strategy of Guangdong province, the service zone is dedicated to supporting the Asia-Pacific bases of financial enterprises from around the world. It acts as headquarters base. Encouraging R&D. Data processing, financial training, outsourcing and other supportive institutions.

 

Already, the zone has attracted a variety of private equity, risk investment, financing and leasing projects to develop the capital market of the Pearl River Delta. The local government supports and encourages enterprises to innovate and asset in the creation of an international financial pilot zone.

The Chinese Office of the German Federal Association of Economic Development and Foreign Trade will be based in the Zone, alongside the Sino-European Expert Club and the German Capital Club. The Zone Management Committee also aim to introduce a European clinical and training hospital, as well as more international schools.
