    Sino-European Cooperation Starts in Foshan

    The 2017 China (Guangdong)-Europe Investment and Innovation Cooperation Conference co-held by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Foshan municipal government and Shunde district government was grandly unveiled in the Sino-German Industrial Services Zone. The conference promoted the deep communication between European enterprises and Foshan enterprises with global innovative resources and business opportunities.

    New Energy Vehicles Project in Foshan

    Foshan has become one of the five demonstration cities to launch the commercial development of fuel cell vehicles in China. Nanhai has signed a cooperative agreement with Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile Co Ltd. The Hydrogen Power (Foshan) R&D Center and vehicle production project with a total investment amounted to 12 billion yuan will settle in Danzao, Nanhai.

    Foshan smart products appear on IFA 2017

    Foshan household appliance enterprises such as Midea, Galanz and Vanward show their new hi-tech products on the the IFA (International Funkausstellung World of Consumer Electronics), one of the three most important consumer electronics shows in the world. The opening ceremony of the China Brand Show and the IFA showed various smart products of Foshan brands in intelligence, environment protection and innovative design.

    A City of Multi-millionaires

    Hurun Research Institute released the Hurun Wealth Report 2017 on September 5, revealing that Foshan made it to the city list of household asset reaching 6 million yuan. It is one of the top ten cities in China with a high net worth of over 10 million yuan, which means that there is a multi-millionaire out of 260 Foshan people. On the list, Foshan has more than 28,000 households ranking 9th in the nation.

    Foshan Company in Forbes' Asia Fab 50 List

    Forbes Asia’s Fab 50 list honors the best big public companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Foshan company ranked in the list, Haitian Flavouring & Food, producer and seller of soy sauce is the biggest player in terms of revenue in the Chinese condiment industry. The company is diversifying its product line. Though soy sauce still counts for 61% of its revenue last year, oyster sauce, bean paste and chicken essence are on the rise.
